Resisting an Officer Without Violence (Florida Statute 843.02) – resisting, obstructing or opposing an officer without doing or offering any violence. This can include not presenting ID, presenting a fake ID, yelling at or arguing with the police, stiffening up during the course of being handcuffed, kicking around in the patrol car, and not following an officer’s instructions. 1st Degree Misdemeanor.
