Drug Offenses

Any drug conviction other than Possession of Drug Paraphernalia results in an automatic 2 year driver license revocation. All Marijuana possession cases under 20 grams including mere residue are 1st Degree Misdemeanors. All other Drug Possession cases are Felonies even if they involve mere possession. For example, possession of 20 grams of Marijuana or more is a 3rd Degree Felony, possession of any amount of Cocaine including residue is a 3rd Degree Felony, possession of any amount of unprescribed pills (even 1) is a 3rd Degree Felony. Buying or selling drugs and cases involving large amounts of drugs result in more serious charges.
